This fingering weight yarn is made from reclaimed Dorset wool leftover from the manufacture of Ellsworth & dyed black Rambouillet originally used in the heathered version of Empire & Mini Empire. The wool is slightly toothy & spun in a single type construction with slight variances in thickness. It’s lightweight & will make a warm, light garment or can be knitted densely to make more water & weatherproof accessories. Each of these 5 colors has at least half a dozen shades of wool included so close inspection will surprise you with specks of color gently blended in.
